We are an original, high energy British Pub. True to the concept, our menu combines the finest aspects of traditional pub fare as well as some more complicated dishes. Our Draught offerings are very extensive and the finest to be found!

 Design and Décor

The award winning exterior is modeled after the classic corner pubs of London. As for the décor, all of the furniture and most of the accessories are purchased in the UK in order to guarantee their authentic look and feel. The centerpiece of the pub is a handcrafted bar from which guests can sample a wide range of English, Scottish and Irish draught, cask conditioned beers, as well as domestics. "Optic Pourers" native to traditional British pubs take center stage at the bar, giving us our unique look. It's easy to see why we've become a favorite among Brits and Yanks alike!

History of AHK PUB Investments

AHK Pub Investments is owned by Jeff Anderson, Tom Hoffman, and Greg Knox. The company was established in April 2008. AHK is an official licensee of “The Pub” concept. Their first “PUB” venture was in January 2009 when they opened their doors in Fredericksburg, Virginia. A second location in Hampton, Virginia is scheduled to open the Summer of 2009. AHK has plans to open 4 additional Pub locations within the next 3 years in the Mid Atlantic region!

The Original Pub concept was created in December 2001, by Mr. Nick Sanders, born out of his desire to create an authentic British pub. Sanders opened the first Pub at Rookwood Mews in Cincinnati, OH. Since that day, the Pub concept has continued to grow rapidly attracting a following in other communities in Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida.

British Pubs at their best lie at the heart of a community, whether in remote hamlets or in the rush and bustle of their great cities. They provide the touchstone for local people and visitors alike. Where else could you find a friendly, relaxing place to meet friends or strike up a conversation with complete strangers in interesting, often highly individualistic surroundings? Our goal is to incorporate elements of the small community pubs, which are such an important part of the English social life. AHK Pub Investments mission reflects its commitment to excellence in the total dining experience, combining creative cuisine with outstanding service in an original, authentic atmosphere. It is our hope to bring that warm British hospitality to our Pubs. We invite you to experience a taste of that centuries old tradition which has inspired us.
